WEDNESDAY 13 has issued the following update on his GUNFIRE 76 project:

"'Casualties & Tragedies' (the song) is currently processing. Our great plan kind of backfired, as there is no way to make a band page private in MySpace 2.0. So screw it, everyone gets to hear the song.

Please understand this song is not in a finished state. This is what is called a rough mix. The song still needs to have the final mix approved and then be sent off for mastering. These two steps will change the way the song sounds. It will be louder, cleaner and will have more of a punch.

We wanted to let you all hear what we have been working on - so you get a feel for what the band will sound like.

A previous update from the band reads: "The Gunfire 76 debut is officially recorded and complete 100%. Its off to the mixing and mastering department now.

I'm really, really proud of the outcome and it really kinda got me out of a corner that I felt like I painted myself into over the years. I took a lot of chances on this CD, did some things I've never done before and really went out of my usual territory on the vocals.

11 tracks in all set for the debut, some song titles are: 'Casualties And Tragedies', 'Nothing's All I Need', 'Los Angel-less' and 'One More Reason To Hate You' to name a few. I really can't wait to for you all to hear it and to get out there and play it live!!!"

Gunfire 76's debut, Casualties & Tragedies, is scheduled for release on October 6th, 2009. Further updates to follow.
