BLOODY PANDA To Shoot New Video Tonight At Toronto Gig

NYC experimental doom metal pack BLOODY PANDA, who are set to play Toronto's The Wreck Room this evening (August 13th) will be shooting a promotional video for an as-yet-unannounced song off their new album, entitled Summon, available August 25th via Profound Lore Records. The video will make its premiere on MTV's Headbangers Ball in the near future. Stay tuned for more details.

The crew behind the making of the video, London, Ontario's HandshakeInc.com, headed up by director David Hall and creative partner, David Cardoso, whose previous work includes Axis Of Eden The Feature Film, based on the album of the same name by Supernova Records’ TODAY IS THE DAY, and Disgorge, Mexico The Movie,’ for Quebec’s FUCK THE FACTS, which will be out later this year on Relapse Records. His most recent project was the official Maryland Deathfest The Movie, which allowed Hall and his crew unprecedented access to this popular festival, which included such revered bands as MAYHEM, BOLT THROWER, NAPALM DEATH, ASPHYX, CATTLE DECAPITATION, etc. The movie will also see release via Relapse Records.

As previously reported, Bloody Panda is in the midst of a US tour now. The 27-city trek will run through August 21st at the Union Pool in Brooklyn. A full listing of upcoming Bloody Panda tour dates follows this message. The official Summon tour admat can be viewed on the left (click to enlarge).

Bloody Panda features Yoshiko Ohara (lead vocals), Josh Rothenberger (guitar), Bryan Camphire (bass, vocals), Blake McDowell (keyboards, organs, vocals), Richard Schwarz – drums, percussion and Gerry Mak (Tuvan Throatsinging, overtonal chant).
