Paul Mahon, guitarist for Irish rockers THE ANSWER, has issued the following update:

"So we had no problems crossing the Canadian border this time! We got across and have now come back into the USA.

We had our first show in Muncton, New Brunswick, it was our first time on the east coast of Canada. The venue for the concert (with AC/DC) was very picturesque and reminiscent of Slane. It was also one of the biggest shows of the tour with reports of everything from 75,000 to 90,000! It looked amazing and was great fun to play, very Texas Jam looking!

Our old buddy Decky Maynes also came on the bus for a week to film and document the tour. After Muncton we went to Montreal to play the Olympic Stadium. It was indoors but still massive, though unfortunately it had an 11 second delay decay which made for a very messy sound in the venue, but it still looked great!

From Montreal we made our way to Ottawa to play the Scotiabank Arena, it was one of the best shows of the tour. Venue sounded great and the audience were fantastic. The next day we hit Toronto for our own show in The Horseshoe Bar. Itss a notorious venue that THE STONES played back in the day. It was a showcase night so we were on first for half an hour. It was get in and get out take no prisoners kinda show, just like we used to do in the early days. After a few quiet beers we were headed back over the border.

We spent Wednesday travelling to Janesville, nothing too exciting, a Walmart stop, a truckshop shower and a few beers in Damon's Sports Bar sums up the day. We have been doing some promo today, first stop was at the river hawks minor league baseball ground. The radio broadcasts from the ground and we did an interview and played three songs acoustic by the side of the pitch and then we got to go on the ground for some hitting practice, a swing and a miss, a swing a miss. It was looking like I was outta there until our resident hitting coach Van buren Fowler gave a few tips and I managed a few base hits after. It was great fun. Thanks to double t and the guys for looking after us and for the players for allowing us to crash their warm up. Then we went back to Janesville and did a couple of songs on 105.9 the hog fm. Now we are on the road to the windy city. The United Centre with AC/DC beckons tomorrow!"
