On August 11th, Swedish black metallers MARDUK finally arrived on North American shores to make up a few dates from their previously scheduled tour in June with Mayhem as part of Blackened Fest. With satanic songs in their arsenal to pick from like ‘Jesus Christ Sodomized’ and ‘Christraping Black Metal’, it was evident that the show at the Blender Theater at Gramercy in New York on August 15th was not for the weak or of strong religious beliefs.
The setlist was as follows: 'The Leveling Dust', 'With Satan And Victorious Weapons', 'On Darkened Wings', 'Baptism By Fire', 'Of Hell's Fire', 'Still Fucking Dead', 'Azrael', 'Beyond The Grace Of God', 'Materialized In Stone', 'Cold Mouth Prayer', 'Wolves', 'Throne Of Rats', 'Fistfucking God's Planet', 'Panzer Division Marduk', 'Burn My Coffin'.

Marduk’s new album Wormwood will be released by Regain Records on September 24th in Europe and North America and the band plan on returning to North America for more dates in the fall/winter of 2009.
