TOBY KNAPP - "The Recording Of My Solo Album The Campaign Is Going Very Well"

Ex-ONWARD guitarist TOBY KNAPP (GODLESS RISING) has issued the following update:
"The Godless Rising New York show is still on, even though we've had some continued bad luck in the drum department, the previously announced drummer Dave Latreverse backed out, another drummer showed serious interest, but we were notified via his management (his wife) that he had recording obligations. Now it appears we are settled with yet another drummer and it looks like this one is going to stick. I'm bringing my guitar student Riley Gilkey to handle bass duties.
California power/prog metallists NEW EDEN have chosen the two songs they would like me to do some guest solos on and their new stuff is amazing, more news on this later. The recording of my solo album The Campaign is going very well and is a good combination of everything I've done in the past; the fusion of progressive music, neo-classical, black metal and traditional heavy metal. The album will contain four instrumentals, four songs with vocals and one older bonus track remixed. The guests vocalists are Attila Csihar, Dean Sternberg and Tom Cline and look for this release on Shredguy Records in the fall/winter - 'Telekinesis' rough mix is on the player (here) and the response has been very good. Back to Godless Rising's Trumpet Of Triumph release coming soon from Moribund Records, Jeff Gruslin is currently in the studio in Rhode Island laying down his vocal tracks. Soon!!
