Report: SLASH Paid $1.65 Million US For Quart Festival Appearance

According to Norway's Fædrelandsvennen, guitar legend SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) was paid 10 million Norwegian kroner (approximately $1.65 million US) for his headlining appearance at this year's edition of the Quart Festival that was held on June 30th in Kristiansand, Norway. In comparison, DAVID BOWIE was paid 1.2 million Norwegian kroner (approximately $198,000 US) in 2002 for his appearance at the festival.

Slash's special guests included: OZZY OSBOURNE, Ron Wood (THE ROLLING STONES) and Fergie (a.k.a. Stacy Ann Ferguson of the BLACK EYED PEAS)

Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION) - bass

John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON) - guitar
