D-A-D Announce Free Concert In Copenhagen

Danish hard rockers D-A-D have issued the following update:

"On October 2nd, at a big TV show in Bella Center, Copenhagen, the president of the International Olympic Committee will open an envelope and announce which city will host the Olympic Games in 2016.

On the occasion a two-day event is organized in Copenhagen. The event includes a 30 minute free concert with D-A-D on the Town Hall Square."

As previously reported, D-A-D have announced that they will support DEEP PURPLE at Hard Rockin X-mas at Helsinki Ice Hall in Helsinki, Finland on November 24th.

As previously reported, D-A-D's long awaited box set, The Overmuch Box, is on its way.

According to a band update, "The box will contain: the ten albums so far released, the EP Standin' On The Never Never, a CD - Behind the Seen - with B-sides and a handful of unreleased songs, and last but not least a 160 pages long book about D-A-D and their music, illustrated with Stigge's (bassist Stig Pedersen) drawings, pictures from their own archives etc."

The box will be released November 16th. Further updates to follow.
