ENEMY REIGN Goes To The Post Office
September 17, 2009, 15 years ago
Denver, Colorado metal troop ENEMY REIGN - which features former SKINLESS vocalist Sherwood Webber alongside drummer Andon Guenther (DEADSPEAK; creative director, programmer, and co-creator of Sick Drummer Magazine), guitarist Nick Guenther (BECOMING THE ENEMY, MASAKADO) and bassist Cassie Begay (THROAT CULTURE/THROCULT, DEADSPEAK) - have issued the following update from Webber:
""As I approach the one postal worker on duty with 75 pieces of fine Enemy Reign merchandise, you should see how pissed he is right now. I'm backing the line up around the block haaaaa!A midget on crutches just had a massive episode and stormed out. All hell is breaking loose, people are swearing at me in Spanish. A cut rate public access TV producer bitch behind me is loosing her mind. There is a state worker huffing and puffing, sounds like a tire inflating and deflating itself repeatedly.
The label machine just broke down, Marty, the pathetic turd of a man helping me is about to have a breakdown. He’s been mean mugging me, cursing under his breath and slapping the labels on the envelopes with great chagrin... he runs into the back and screams for Lois!!!!!
People behind me are yelling for a supervisor!!! I hear Marty in the back - "Looooooissssssssssss!! This guy has 70 pieces!! 70 fucking pieces!! He just doesn't care!!"
10 ft of postal receipt tape later and I was out the door smiling knowing that the Enemy Reign goods will get where they have to go! Keep the orders coming!"
As previously reported, Enemy Reign's recently released self-financed EP, Means To A Dead End - recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio (CEPHALIC CARNAGE, MARTRIDEN, COBALT) - is out now.
