ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, DECREPIT BIRTH Ink Management Deals With Salem Rose Music

Salem Rose Music has announced today that it has expanded its management roster with the addition of new clients, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS and DECREPIT BIRTH.
Salem Rose Music was formed two years ago when Marco Barbieri stepped down from his Presidential post at Century Media Records to return with his family to Las Vegas and join his father in Property Management, Investing and Real Estate Development. Having 20 years of professional music experience it was difficult for Barbieri to leave the business entirely and he has kept himself busy handling the career of Warbringer, promoting local events and assisting others in various musical endeavors.
“I’ve enjoyed helping to develop the career or WARBRINGER and am constantly asked if I’m interested in managing additional bands”, explained Barbieri. “I’ve been keeping an eye out for perspective talent but was hesitant to take on too much too soon. This year I feel like I have a handle on Warbringer and with the renewal of their deal have decided to take the next progressive step and expand my roster by working with these two extremely promising bands.”Abigail Williams (www.myspace.com/abigailwilliams) are currently in the midst of supporting their October 2008 release, In The Shadow of a Thousand Suns (Candlelight), which will see them touring the US and Canada again later this month in support of God Dethroned before closing out the year with a UK headline tour and support dates in Europe to ARCH ENEMY and DESTRUCTION. Additional tours in the new year include a Nile US tour and trips to Australia and Mexico.
Abigail Williams’ Ken Sorceron had this to say, "We are very pleased to announce our new partnership with Marco Barbieri. Marco has been in the metal industry for a while now, and during his time as head of Century Media US, has worked with many great bands. We value his wisdom and he is already making steps towards doing great things for the band."
Decrepit Birth (www.myspace.com/decrepitbirth) have been building the anticipation for their Nuclear Blast debut by aggressively touring this year with SUFFOCATION and as part of the Summer Slaughter tour. The band will do one more North American run in support of VADER before recording their third album early next year and are already lining up additional US and European touring to further build the release.
"We are excited to be working with Marco Barbieri as our Manager,” states Decrepit Birth guitarist Matt Sotelo. “We are very confident in his knowledge of the business, and he has a great vision for the future of the band! Marco is a huge fan and supporter of metal just like us so it should make for a killer team."“I am very excited by the prospect of working with such great talent and personalities,” concludes Barbieri, “and I look forward to the developments and breakthroughs each of these bands will make.”
