London-based doom metallers ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"Orange Goblin are selling some perfectly good, working equipment that we no longer use due to endorsements from other companies. We have the following for sale: - 2 x Vintage MATAMP 4x12 Speaker cabinets.(£150 each)
- 1 x AMPEG SVT Pro IV Bass Amp (£300)

If you are interested in these, please contact the band through this MySpace page, we'll be in touch.

Ideally these would need to be collected from the band (based in London, England) so will suit a UK buyer rather than have to arrange selling and shipping to abroad.

These items have been played on various Orange Goblin tours and albums but have recently been serviced and are in great condition."

A previous message from the band reads: "Orange Goblin have secured a new date in Athens, Greece following the cancellation of the shows in 2008! So for the first time in almost 5 years, the Goblins will be back to play at The An Club, Athens, Greece on Saturday, January 16th, 2010.

Support will come from LORD 13 and LUCKY FUNERAL.

Tickets cost €20 (limited to the first 100 internet pre-sales) and €25 regular pre-sale/doors from orangegoblinath.eventbrite.com."

A previous update from the group reads: "Orange Goblin are very pleased to announce their annual end of year Christmas show! This year’s festivities take place at The Scala, Pentonville Road, Kings Cross, London on Saturday, December 19th.

As in previous years, the support acts for the Christmas show have been hand-picked by Orange Goblin themselves and this year the lineup is stronger than ever!

As main support, playing their first UK show since 2007 will be the mighty New Jersey scumbags SOLACE! Before them will be Boston rockers, ROADSAW (who will be performing a set of KYUSS covers after getting the seal of approval from Josh Homme!). Before that will be London heavyweights CENTURIONS GHOST and opening the proceedings will be another heavy, up and coming London band, SONS OF MERRICK.

Doors open at 7 PM and the times are as follows:

Sons Of Merrick: 7:30 to 8 PM

Centurions Ghost: 8:15 – 8:50 PM

Roadsaw : 9 – 9:50 PM

Solace: 10:00 – 10:50 PM

Orange Goblin: 11:05 PM – 12:20 AM

Tickets are priced £10 in advance or £12 on the door and are available through ticketweb.co.uk or the Scala box-office, scala-london.co.uk.

After the show will be Unholy Rock/Metal club in the venue (admission is free if you stay after the show!) until 6 AM, with members of Orange Goblin and the support acts DJing until the early hours. It promises to be THE don’t miss gig of the year!!!!"
