September 22, 2009, 15 years ago
UK rockers TYGERS OF PAN TANG have issued the following update:
"We're very pleased to announce the very recent launch of a new Tygers Of Pan Tang MySpace site, exclusively developed in Italy by Elia Turra. Elia is a graphic designer, musician and friend of the band whom we have worked alongside on Italian stomping grounds. The site wil help run alongside our new website and official MySpace site acting kind of like a Street Team Leader to get ongoing events of the Tygers directly to our Italian fans.
Elia has done a fantastic job of the design, putting his own slant on it very creatively to say the least. Really do hope you get a moment to check it out and even time to leave a comment."
Check out the new site at myspace.com/tygerforceitaly.
A previous update from the band reads: "We would like to introduce you to "Thinny" who has joined the backroom team to update and maintain the website. This was a major coup for the band to get his services and we are delighted to have him on board.
"Thinny" previously worked with our old friends THUNDER for many years so his experience is second to none. We know he will bring new fresh ideas to the party and keep the website far more updated than we have manged to do over the last year. "Thinny" has already re-designed the site so make sure you check it out at tygersofpantang.com .If you have any thoughts on what you would like to see on the site please do not hesitate to contact us through the contact page of the website. We always do our best for you guys and your ideas will be looked at seriously we promise.
As always thank you for your fantastic support."
A recent update from the band reads: "It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellations of the upcoming shows in Birmingham and Clitheroe. These shows will be rescheduled for 2010 and we promise they will be a little bit special for you. We hope to announce very shortly a very special guest that we have been trying to get on the bill for a very long while now. Again we are extremely sorry to bring this news on the cancellations and we ask that you bare with us and continue with your support of the band."
