LAZARUS A.D. Debut 'Revolution' Video
September 22, 2009, 15 years ago
LAZARUS A.D. filmed a new live video for Revolution this summer at Milwaukee, WI's famed Summerfest. They played on Friday, June 26th as direct support to BURN HALO and SALIVA in front of hordes of rabid metal/rock fans. Despite the brutally humid and hot summer heat, Lazarus A.D. unleashed their acclaimed in your face live performance.
Guitarist Dan Gapen issues an update on the video, the band, and his hand! "What's up everybody? First and foremost I just wanna say we miss all you guys and can't wait to get back on the road and rock again. Since we do have downtime though, we want to let all you guys know what we've been up to, beginning with our new video. The video is for the song "Revolution." It is a live video with footage taken from a show that we played at Summerfest; the world's largest music festival in Milwaukee Wisconsin on June 26th, 2009.The video was shot with three cameras by Vision 4 Films in front of a stellar crowd. I think the video is a great way of showing what we do in a live setting and gives you an overall feel of what we are as a live band. Oh and if you were at the show there are a decent amount of crowd shots so be sure to check yourself out.
Next I wanted to discuss my hand. I got my cast removed on Tuesday and I am happy as hell!!! I had that son of a bitch on for 6 and a half weeks and I hated every minute of it. I was very relieved when I got the cast taken off and picked up my guitar and realized I could play pretty much exactly how I did before. This is great because I was afraid that I would have to go through some type of bullshit therapy to gain my strength back but for some reason or another, my playing wasn't really affected by the break. We are going to start practicing again this week and I can't wait.
Also, in this time off we will be writing some new songs and hopefully going into the studio to record some rough production demos of material that will possibly be on our sophomore album!!! Well that's all for now. Until next time, keep blazin' up and drinkin' down!"
Fans can see the video here starting tomorrow, September 23rd, at 9am pacific time. The Onslaught is available everywhere now.
