AC/DC Settles Dispute With AFL Over Etihad Concerts

Theaustralian.news.com.au is reporting:
Legendary rockers AC/DC will play their Black Ice tour concerts at Etihad Stadium in February after the date was previously thrown into doubt because of AFL objections.
The recent signing of a new contract between the league and the stadium has allowed AC/DC to go ahead with the three Melbourne shows on February 11, 13 and 15.
The AFL had previously objected saying those dates would clash with a possible pre-season NAB Cup match.
The league and the stadium announced their new deal today, worth an extra $5.5 million to AFL clubs over a 15-year period.
The deal raised the minimum number of matches to be played at the venue but also gives the stadium's operators greater flexibility to stage non-football events, such as concerts like AC/DC.
The Aussie rockers have sold 180,000 tickets for their Melbourne shows.
