DESULTORY To Begin Recording New Album In November
September 23, 2009, 15 years ago
Swedish death metallers DESULTORY will begin recording for the yet-untitled brand new album in November. The new album will mark their first band effort in almost 14 years, since their last full-length album Swallow The Snake in 1996.
Taking care of the production duties will be Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio, Sweden (WATAIN, IN BATTLE, NOMINON).
Lead guitar player Håkan Morberg commented on how the new album is shaping up to be: "The songs are a mix of fast and heavy melodic death metal with dark and melancholic lyrics, all in the true spirit of Desultory. The album will be a logical continuation of Into Eternity and Bitterness and will be a strong bridge linking the past to the present."
