STEVE VAI is set to release his concert film and live CD, Where The Wild Things Are, on September 29th via Favored Nations Records.

The show was recorded and filmed at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN before a sold-out audience as part of Vai’s successful Sound Theories world tour.

The 2 hour and 40 minute set contains several new tracks and re-orchestrated pieces culled from his rich catalog.

Where The Wild Things Are is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and audio CD.

Vai will be visiting Looney Tunes in West Babylon, New York (31 Brookvale Ave.) for an in-store and signing of his new DVD and CD, Where The Wild Things Are, on Tuesday, October 13th at 6 PM. The event is open to the public, however Looney Tunes is offering a pre-order of the DVD and CD that gives you a wristband guaranteeing entry to this very specail event. Steve will autograph any one item per person. Cameras are allowed. As with all Looney Tunes in-stores, if you buy the CD of the band you get a special wristband to guarantee your entry to the event. If they have time and space people without wristbands will also be allowed in.
