DOOGIE WHITE - Finnish Tour Postponed

Vocalist DOOGIE WHITE (EMPIRE, TANK, ex-RITCHIE BLACKMORE’S RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) checks in with the following update:
"Shit!! I’ve been playing football every week with these same guys for 20 years and apart from 3 fractured ribs, a couple of bloody noses and a few strains now and again I have been injury free.Not any more. I ruptured my Achilles tendon, got the pain but none of the glory, while scoring a goal the other night. I don’t score many but this one may be my last.
I am in plaster and on crutches for 12 weeks... give or take. This means I am banned from flying “thrombosis with complications” a possibility apparently, and I can only use one leg and can barely stand... note to self “work on upper body strength”.
This means that I cannot play the gigs lined up in Finland in October. So to anyone who was coming to those shows and to my band mates, venues and promoters I can only apologize and hope that the gigs can be rescheduled for next year. Big thanks to Rike for his understanding."
