What song do you want us to cover for a future recording?"

'Bearer Of Pain' - CANDLEMASS

A previous update from the band reads: "Oh yeah, we are productive as fucken cocaine manufacturers in Columbia it seems. A few days after Tobben went on tour with Vomitory The Lord decided to start composing for the second part of trilogy 2. Somewhere between that time and today Jörgen visited K for 2 days of beer drinking, PS3 playing and music creating. And whaddya fucken know – the next 3 songs are now completed which should be a nice surprise for Golden T as he arrives back to Sweden, haha…

As always, K composes sketches of tracks, songs that he thinks are perfect as they are. Then he hands them over to Jörgen and Tobben and they get back with eventual alterations to the tune in question and we work together until they feel ace and all of us are satisfied.

This time K and J did this themselves (since Tobben is on tour, we know he’ll absolutely love the shit either way) and as we completed the first track K started writing the second one. When J came to K’s we finished that one up with some ace riffs by J and it turned out fucken killer. We also recorded a bunch of riffs where a few of them ended up in the third and final track which K and J completed yesterday. And this third track is the first track ever since we started to collaborate on a more in-depth basis that J didn’t want to change a single fucken thing in. K felt it was fantastic from the beginning but didn’t think J wouldn’t interfere with his superior knowledge and filthy jar-fingers… But he loved it and all 3 songs are now finished for the next demo.

One of these tunes will not appear on this recording, though, but on something else that we will announce as soon as we can. But fear not, the demo will still have 3 songs where one of them is our second cover tune ever. Maybe not a cover by a band you’d expect us to do, but hey – there’s a reason for this song as well… There’s a clear thought behind everything.

J has started to write the lyrics (titles and everything is already set as can be seen below – except for the “leftover” track that we will announce later) for them now and we guess we’ll start recording this in a month or 3, we haven’t decided on that just yet since we have a few gigs coming up and whatnot.

We also managed to hire Guger (and paid him nothing, as always) to complete the cover for the next demo a week ago since we wanna stay ahead of ourselves and have everything as ready as can be when we get to record. Since most of you actually thought you knew whose face demo number 2 would display – you were wrong, and that’s why we decide to post both the cover and the titles for you, to raise the expectations a little for Evighetens Dårar II. There is a theme with these covers ofcourse, question is – are you able to spot it?

Lemme finish with saying that this demo feels like it’ll be our most intense one yet actually. Expect blasts, expect ferocity and except the world’s best death metal entering another level with this full-on death metal assault. As soon as we know when we can start recording this you will be notified in here.

And the cover (at left, click to enlarge) (still missing recording info as we haven’t set a date yet).

Make sure to spread the news and the cover around the forums you visit and help us build the hype that we deserve."

Further updates to follow.
