MATTSSON - New Album In The Works For 2010

Guitarist Lars Eric Mattsson has checked in with the following update:
"I am working on a new MATTSSON album which I hope will be released early 2010. I am planning to record about 10 tracks, 9 new and also one I originally had planned to include on Power Games but which I felt wouldn't have fit in at the time so I never finished it but for this album I think it will become the perfect closing track.I think this time the music will be more progressive than on Dream Child, at times heavily orchestrated but also on a few spots very minimalistic and I also plan to use several different singers. I am trying to incorporate more variation and dynamics than before and I am having a really great time at the moment trying out some wild ideas:-) I found it hard in the beginning as I was not sure about the musical direction of the project but now I feel like I have found my way and I am enjoying the recording and composing process more that ever.
There is also an all acoustic album in the making since two years now, the delay was caused by someone else involved, not me, but I hope to have it finished soon."
