Los Angeles glam throwbacks STEEL PANTHER, celebrated the release of their debut album Feel The Steel on Universal Records at the Newbury Comics Record Store in Norwood, MA. on October 6th. For one night only, the record chain was turned into something that quite resembled Sunset Strip on any given night. Lots of hair, make-up, metal music and an East Coast legion of Steel Panther fans ready to rock.

Steel Panther features Michael Starr on vocals, Lexxi Foxxx on bass, Satchel on guitar, and Stix Zadinia on drums. All four musicians are veterans from the Sunset Strip and have paid their dues in METAL SKOOL.

As the legion of Steel Panther fans lined up early to get a glimpse of the band that hit the stage at 8:15 P.M. for an acoustic version of select songs from their debut release. Steel Panther certainly lived up to the hype. Opening with 'Fat Girl' the night was surely all about women and metal. Steel Panther began an assault of parody on everything from hookers, to metal chicks, to praising VAN HALEN as their heroes (featuring a version of the Van Halen classic 'Jump'). One of the loudest responses was their hit 'Community Property'. The band performed about an hour acoustic set and then did a special meet and greet. Songs included 'Asian Hooker', 'Girl From Oklahoma', and ended the set with 'Death To All But Metal'.

Satchel commented: "It was great to be playing acoustic with no overdubs in Boston tonight to so many fans."
