They've quit their day jobs, found a manager, locked into a long string of tour dates and paid back the relative who loaned them the dough to record an album. And received wet kisses from Dustin Hoffman and Courtney Love.
So when did heavy-metal pioneers and Anvil co-founders Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner really feel that they were heading back toward the top after spending most of a quarter-century near the bottom of the scrap heap?
