Italy's NATRON have issued the following update:

"With enormous satisfaction we announce that the apocalyptic return of the Italian godfathers of death metal is finally out on Metal Age Productions!

Our sixth studio album named Rot Among Us includes the following tracklist:

'Rot Among Us'

'Dead Beat'

'Bullet Of God'

'Prime Cuts'

'Heads Are Rolling'

'Enthroned in Repulsion'

'Only Living Witness'

'Planet Corpse'

'Roadkill'

'The Infection Theme'

'Backyard Graveyard'

After weeks of postponement due to the summer holidays and final technical touches (booklet graphics?) words aren't enough to express how proud we are of this new album release especially for the fact that we finally get new stuff out to our fans after five long years!

Following our 2004 album Livid Corruption, the new Rot Among Us stands proud on his own amazing fury, always faithful to the original band formula. The psychotic rifferama of the riffmaster Domenico Mele finds here a fertile ground. The new tracks are even more song-like structured, an armed assault still built on Max Marzocca's blastbeats and earthshaking double bass and young talent Alyosha Danisi's crushing bass-notes, somewhere complex somewhere straight in the face, but the whole album mood is fuckin' rotten, nihilist and dark.

Production is massively clean and yet with a modern flavour supplying a new powerful definition and even when the band speeds up the whole instruments sound remains surgically tight and clear while eerie and disturbing Tardy/OBITUARY-esque vocals spit forth the lyrics all focused on 'the end of this world' topics.

Originally inspired by MISFITS punk core masterpiece Walk Among Us title - we have never hidden their love for certain '80's hard core-punk bands, Rot Among Us armed with its power load of 11 tracks of death/grind fury calls into question man's fragile hopes: religion, politics, future of mankind , creating a nightmare of death/grind Armageddon. Vocals are raw and painful, the new vocalist Nicola Bavaro put all his efforts into growling and shouting off the world outside the Natron own apocalyptic manifesto.

Always influenced by certain '80's thrash metal ala CORONER, VOIVOD and SLAYER and by the uncompromising brutality of death/grind '90's masters like NAPALM DEATH, TERRORIZER, SUFFOCATION, ENTOMBED, we're still purveyors of brutality in the world’s extreme scene. This is uncompromised death metal brutality with a even more thrashin' and grindin' edge, rotting vocals and venomous lyrics.

We'll be back on the road in January - after the last European trek with SUFFOCATION in 2007 - for a two weeks tour to crush your heads along with Swiss fellas MUMAKIL (Relapse grind sensation).

The tour routing schedule includes Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Portugal. We mostly focused on the southern/central part of Europe just to begin, while another tour is in band's plan within the end of the same year.
