MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister - "I'd Rather Die Than Give Up Everything That Makes Life Worth Living"

According to Contactmusic.com, MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister wants to die onstage because he can't stand the idea of a drawn-out retirement. The 63 year old continues to amaze medics and friends, who feared he was close to death when he was diagnosed with diabetes a decade ago - and refused to cut out the alcohol and treats his doctors advised him to. But he insists he'd rather drop dead than live the life the experts want him to.
The singer, who reportedly guzzles a bottle of bourbon a day, tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I'd rather die than live the life that would mean completely giving up everything that makes life worth living... (and) I don't want to hang around with tubes up my nose."
