ANIMALS AS LEADERS Preps For BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME Tour, Announces Off-Date With SCALE THE SUMMIT

ANIMALS AS LEADERS - the acclaimed progressive instrumental solo project of 7- and 8-string guitar virtuoso Tosin Abasi (ex-REFLUX, touring guitarist of BORN OF OSIRIS) - is currently preparing for it's first tour, a three-week trek alongside BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME.
During the tour, which kicks off November 7 in Kettering, Ohio, Abasi will be backed by second guitarist Javier Reyes, Chebon Littlefield (laptop), and drummer Navene Koperweis (ANIMOSITY, THE FACELESS).
"Navene and I have actually been talking about working together for quite some time now," says Abasi, noting that Reflux and Animosity have previously toured together. "I'm stoked that it's finally going down! Anyone who has seen his work with Animosity or The Faceless or heard his solo project Fleshrot understands what he's capable of on both drums and guitar."In addition to the BTBAM dates, Animals As Leaders will also play a one-off, all-ages show with labelmates (and fellow progressive instrumentalists) SCALE THE SUMMIT, at the Dallas House of Blues (Cambridge Room) on November 17th. Advance tickets are just $10 and go on sale this Saturday (October 24th).
