Yesterday (Monday, November 2nd), SLAYER announced the postponement of it's Canadian Carnage tour with MEGADETH, which was due to begin on November 8th.

Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine has issued the following audio update:

"Today is Tuesday, November 3rd and unfortunately I have the bad news to tell you that our Canadian Carnage tour is being postponed due to Tom Araya (Slayer) needing to get some emergency back surgery. So just wanted to let you know we are not cancelling, we are just postponing. Canadian Carnage is going to be rescheduled and you can probably count on that being somewhere around the new year."
