Ex-AFTER FOREVER vocalist Floor Jansen has checked in with the following update:

The Dutch venue P60 in Amstelveen (The Netherlands) asked me and the RED LIMO STRING QUARTET to come and perform our special show. We will do so on December 27th

So, once more, After Forever songs will be played by this string quartet with arrangements made by Joost van de Broek (keyboards / After Forever). Don't miss it! For more info go to this location."

As previously reported, Jansen has resurfaced with a new band, REVAMP. New songs were written with guitarist Waldemar Sorychta (GRIP INC., ENEMIES OF THE SUN) and keyboardist Joost van den Broek (ex-AFTER FOREVER, STAR ONE), but Jansen is now looking for a drummer, bassist, guitarist and keyboardist to fill out the ranks for life shows. She has issued the following update:

-- Is a skilled player on his instrument in the metal style (as well fast and brutal as groovy and melodic)....
-- Is a man (sorry girls)....
-- Is experienced on stage with a band and able to do a convincing performance....

-- Has his own transportation ....
-- Is available for tours....
-- Understands the music industry and the position of an upcoming band....
-- Is Dutch or lives nearby the border of The Netherlands in either Belgium or Germany.....
-- Is available for rehearsals in December until April and for shows starting in May....

"After the break of After Forever, singer Floor Jansen soon decided she wanted to start over and present a new band to the public as soon as possible. To accomplish this she joined forces with two additional songwriters to first compose, then record an album. A live band is soon to be formed after completion, which will get her back on stage where she belongs!

The first composer to join this new collaboration was soon found when Waldemar Sorychta contacted her to inquire about her current activities and potential future cooperation. Being a fan of Grip Inc. this idea of working with Waldemar was a big honor and a first step in creating a sound! Waldemar’s unique style combined with his experience as songwriter/producer made her dream come closer to reality.

The second composer was found in After Forever colleague Joost van den Broek. Asking Joost to join seemed logical because of his great keyboards and arrangements, and therefore his potentially valuable contribution. Despite his busy schedule, he wanted to join and get started immediately. With him on board the songwriting team was complete!

The ReVamp sound will become a unique blend of the personal style we will recognize from these musicians. Combining these individual sounds in one album promises to result in heavy and very metal!
