AEROSMITH Guitarist Joe Perry Cancels Connecticut Show

Joe Perry, who has beaten up on AEROSMITH band mate Steven Tyler in the media over sustaining injuries that forced the group to cancel its summer tour, has canceled at least one show in the tour he’s undertaken to support his new solo disc and may be canceling others.
Perry’s show at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Conn., on Dec. 10 – the day before he’s scheduled to play Allentown’s Crocodile Rock Café – has been canceled, a Toad’s spokeswoman said Friday. No other explanation was given, she said.
But she said the venue had been told Perry’s entire tour had been canceled.
But a spokesman for Hampton Beach Casino Hampton Beach, N.H., said Perry was playing there Friday night as scheduled. Perry’s website, joeperry.com, made no reference to the Toad’s cancelation or any others.
