METALLICA Comment On 2010 Grammy Award Nomination

The nominations for the 52nd annual Grammy Awards have been announced and METALLICA's 'The Unforgiven III' has been nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance.
The band comment: "Tonight the fine folks as the Recording Academy announced that they have nominated us for a Grammy this year for the track 'The Unforgiven III' from Death Magnetic in the category of Best Hard Rock Performance.
It is an honor to be included with our fellow nominees ALICE IN CHAINS, AC/DC, LINKIN PARK, and NICKLEBACK. Awards will be handed out on January 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air on CBS television.
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards show will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA and broadcast live on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
