December 4, 2009, 14 years ago
UK prog metal act JUROJIN have checked in with the following update:
"Hey hey!Today marks the launch of our new MySpace profile and set-up for our upcoming album. Please do have a look around as we have put up new pics and tracks and we will be adding loads more stuff between now and the launch of the album.
We have finally caught up with the times and created pages on Last FM, Reverbnation, Twitter, and Facebook, so please, if you are on those as well, follow the links from our MySpace and add us!!
Over the next few months we will slowly be announcing details of the album and post teasers, studio vids, etc.. The album is finished and we will be starting a UK press and radio campaign in January 2010, with the album hitting stores in April 2010. The exact date will be announced in January, but we are excited to FINALLY unleash this upon the world!
We know we have been quiet but we have had our reasons - stay tuned as this is only the beginning of Jurojin getting back on the map...
Wishing you all the best for the holidays and New Years."

As previously reported, in a recent interview with BW&BK; scribe Carl Begai, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA violinist Anna Phoebe discussed her plans of working and touring with Jurojin in 2010.
“I’m working with the guys from Jurojin because I was looking for a band to do some gigs," says Anna. "I tried to put a band together at home in London earlier this year because all the guys that play on the album are from Holland, so flying back and forth for rehearsals would be expensive. I couldn’t find the right kind of musicians, the sort of people that have the right sensibility about their playing. Then I met the Jurojin guys and things really clicked, so they’ve been learning how to play my music and we’re going to schedule some shows at some point. I’d love to work with Joost and the other guys again for a new album, but I’m also going to try writing with the guys from Jurojin. We had one session – a living room jam (see below) with me, the guitarist Nic, and tabla player Sim – where we did acoustic versions of two songs from my first solo album. They’re really open to working like that, and those are the kind of musicians I want to work with.”Go to this location for the complete story.
