RUSH Guitarist ALEX LIFESON's Solo Project Victor Available Now
December 5, 2009, 14 years ago
As reported yesterday by RUSH fan-site Power Windows, guitarist ALEX LIFESON's long out of print solo project Victor - originally issued by Atlantic Records in 1996 - will be reissued "soon" by Wounded Bird Records. The label now lists the title as "available now!"
Victor was recorded at Lerxst Sound (Lifeson's home studio) between October 1994 and July 1995 and features former I MOTHER EARTH singer Edwin and PRIMUS' Les Claypool.
Formed in 1998, Wounded Bird Records is a label that specializes in the reissue of albums from the '60's, '70's and early '80's on compact disc. All of their releases are properly licensed from the owner of the original masters, in most cases the original record label and sometimes the artists themselves.
