December 7, 2009, 14 years ago
SCARPOINT drummer Erik Thyselius has issued the following update:
"Last night we had an extremely good evening. First we had a productive meeting with our management and got some really good news. Later that evening we had a guitar player doing an audition. Man, that was really cool to be able to play the new songs for the first time as a band. He did a really solid job and we´ll keep trying him for a while. So look out for some dates in the upcoming weeks. This week is followed by meetings and more meetings. Things are going in the right direction and I´m certain that you will be able to read some really cool news shortly."
Scarpoint recently entered Stockholm's Fear & Loathing Studio (owned by members of MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER) to begin recording their as-yet-untitled second album.
Produced by Jocke Skog of CLAWFINGER and SCARPOINT, the CD is tentatively due in early 2010.
