HardTimes.ca has issued an interview with Illinois-based extreme metallers NACHTMYSTIUM. Check it out below.

As previously reported, Nachtmystium have been confirmed for next year's Roadburn festival, which will take place April 15th-18th, 2010 at the 013 and Midi Theatre venues in Tilburg, Holland. The band will perform on Saturday, April 17th, 2010. This show will pan hard towards Nachtmystium’s more psychedelic inspired material taking black metal and the Roadburn attendees to a musical place that they’ve never gone before, according to a press release.

“We are pleased to announce that Nachtmystium will be making our Roadburn debut this coming year!”, says Blake Judd, “We will be performing a unique-to-Roadburn set that will focus on our more psychedelic-inspired material, along with brand new material from our next full-length record Addicts: Black Meddle Pt. II. A guest appearance by Bruce Lamont of YAKUZA (who played on our last full-length, Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. I) can be expected at Roadburn this year, along with some other surprises. We are very excited and honored to get the opportunity to be a part of this amazing festival.”

Other acts confirmed for next year's Roadburn festival include: CANDLEMASS, ENSLAVED, GOATSNAKE, SHRINEBUILDER, YOB, THORR'S HAMMER, COMUS, SONS OF OTIS, MOSS, ALTAR OF PLAGUES, BRANT BJORK & THE BROS and YAKUZA.

Enslaved will be artists in residence and will be doing several special shows during the festival.

Candlemass will perform their classic album, Epicus Doomicus Metallicus in its entirety with Johan Längquist on vocals. There will be a special part of the set that incorporates new singer Robert Lowe as well.

Tom Gabriel Warrior, founder of the illustrious Hellhammer and Celtic Frost, has agreed to act as the curator for the festival on Friday, April 16th 2010, and host a special event at Roadburn, called Only Death Is Real. Tom’s duties as curator include personally selecting the bands that will play on Only Death Is Real, as well as to perform the first major headlining set with his latest incarnation, TRIPTYKON.

Tickets for Roadburn will go on sale Saturday, November 28 at 10:00 Central European Time.
