#24 - SWALLOW THE SUN – New Moon (Spinefarm)
Finnish doom metallers SWALLOW THE SUN landed at position #10 on the official Finnish Top 40 Charts with New Moon. In the US the album debuted at #148 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
New Moon was produced and mixed by Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with such acts as KATATONIA, OPETH, PARADISE LOST and AMON AMARTH. Kai Hahto (WINTERSUN, ex-ROTTEN SOUND) was recruited to play drums on the album, following the recent departure of longtime skinsman Pasi Pasanen.
