Russia's BLACKTHORN Release Debut

Russian gothic metal band BLACKTHORN have announced the release of their debut album, Gossamer's Witch, through Ravenheart Music
Records.
Gossamer Witch sees the start of what looks to be a very successful career for Blackthorn. The album is a collection of songs that presents a combination of styles including gothic metal, black metal and classical music. The lyrics are inspired by witchcraft, misanthropy and ancient cults. What makes this musical blend so enchanting is that the band is all female. Blackthorn have set a new standard for female extreme metal.
