London-based doom metallers ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"Orange Goblin will headline the Psychotropic Caravan II Festival, which celebrates heavy and psychedelic music and will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2010 with THE HEADS, LITMUS, PHARAOH OVERLORD and more.

TEMPLES, MR. PETER HAYDEN and TULITERA will play at bar Alakerta on the ground floor of the venue in between the main stage bands.

Psychedelic visuals and cosmic projections will blow your mind on both floors. Psych rock fest veteran DJ Kozmik Ken will spin vinyl at Nosturi, while Psychotropic Zone and Club Planet Caravan DJ’s are present at Alakerta.

Psychotropic Caravan II Warm-Up is on Friday, February 5th at Alakerta. BIG NATURALS - a loud psych rock duo - and SEMTEX - green smoke reeking sludge - play gigs and the night culminates in an Open Stage Deep Space Jam Session.

Merchandise and distros will be present on both evenings."

A previous update from the band reads: "It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that due to circumstances beyond the bands control, SOLACE will NOT be performing at the Orange Goblin show at The Scala, London on Saturday, December 19th.

Boston's kings of rock, ROADSAW, will now be main support.
