WWIII frontman Mandy Lion has issued the following update:

"Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know that my last show in 09 will take place at the world famous Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA on December 26th. The line-up for this show is stellar...

On drums we have Jamie Harris from STEELER which is a groove monster of the finest kind. The man's energy and talent make him a pleasure to observe. On guitar we have Rick Plester; for those of you who do not know who he is let me tell you, he is a frightening talent to say the least. People such as George Lynch and Michael Schenker had him produce their last few CDs and describe Rick as one of the world's all time most gifted guitarists. Try to imagine combining Malmsteen's speed with VAN HALEN's bag of tricks, add a little SRV and Blackmore in there, then top it off with a healthy dose of Iommi and you can picture what a monster this guy is.

On bass I have none other than the mighty Jimmy Bain.

Jimmy is a true legend having forged the sound of hard rock as we know it from the birth of the genre. Jimmy Bain was a major force in bands such as Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW, DIO, and of course WWIII. This man is not only one of the best bass players the world has ever seen but also my dearest friend. Having had the pleasure and honor to work with Jimmy for the better part of my career has been a blessing beyond measure.

I would love it if you all would join me and my band mates on December 26th at the Roxy Theater. Show time will be 11.15pm sharp so make sure you don't get caught in traffic. Better get there a little early than being late, right?

Also performing that night will be Stephen Pearcy of RATT, which I am looking forward to seeing myself.

For advance discount tickets E-mail me at thebeasthimself@aol.com or mandyliontickets@yahoo.com

Tickets bought before December 26th will be 10 dollars but if you wait until the night of the show the door will cost you at least $20. So, get yours now and make sure you say hello when you see me at the venue. I will join you all after the show to meet as many of you as I possibly can.

Looking forward to seeing you on December 26th."

Your friend...

M. Lion
