Toronto's ECLIPSE ETERNAL have issued the following update:

"We are currently working on our newest album entitled The Essence of Hopelessness. We hope to start recording sometime in late Jan. early Feb. if all goes as planned. So far we have seven songs written. Tentative song titles are 'Deathbound', 'Writing With A Razor Upon The Blue Lines', 'Ancient Voices On The Wind', 'Know That I Am The Noose', 'You Are Nothing', 'The Essence Of Hopelessness', 'Ode To A Time Long Gone'. The album will be just under a hour in length.

Also, we have been announced as openers for Toronto's IMMORTAL date (March 27th at the Opera House). We will be playing four songs including two new ones. More news will come soon."

As previously reported, an icy present from the blackened kings of Norway, Immortal have exclusively announced to BraveWords.com that they will indeed be hitting North America for just a handful of select dates in 2010, supporting their reunion album All Shall Fall. These will be the only shows taking place.

Says the band, "After the fantastic experiences we had in New York and Los Angeles in 2007, we are returning next year, and this time we will make sure we visit our Canadian hordes on the East coast as well! We will see you during Easter 2010, which will be a dark and cold one!”

Dates are as follows:

March

27 - Toronto, ON - The Opera House
28 - Montreal, QC - Metropolis
30 - New York, NY - Masonic Temple Brooklyn

April

2 - Los Angeles, CA - The Avalon

There will be a limited amount of VIP tickets available for each show, which will include a laminate, a poster, early entry to the venue and a signing session with the band after the concert.

Further details to follow.
