MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover, already confirmed to be at NAMM 2010 as part of the Dean Guitars live webcast (see details here), has announced his first signing session at the convention. It will take place on Saturday, January 16th at the Vic Firth booth at 4:00pm. More details will be revealed soon.

As previously reported, Megadeth bassist James Lomenzo will be appearing at NAMM 2010 the Rotosound booth (5596, Hall B) on January 16th at 11:00am.

Note: The NAMM show is not open to the public. The only attendees are NAMM member companies and their invited guests. Read more on NAMM here.

As announced on December 31st, BraveWords.com scribes voted Megadeth's Endgame as the #1 Brave Pick Of 2009. Word has made it to the Mega-camp and they responded with glee.

Leader Dave Mustaine remarked:

"When it comes down to knowing their shit about music, about the bands, about the fans, and what is the truth, Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles have always been head and shoulders above anyone else. A favourite website of mine and Megadeth. There are no mindless 13 year-olds posting here; just metal fans, writers with serious cred, and an editor that plays fucking hockey! How badass is that?

I would like to thank Tim Henderson and the killer crew of Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles for this tremendous honor. It is my goal to personally dedicate all of the concerts on the upcoming Canadian Carnage tour to BW&BK; the readers, the fans, and the friends of Megadeth.

I am so honored."

Drummer Shawn Drover and fellow crazy Canuck metalhead added: "BW&BK; has always been synonymous with quality music journalism and presenting itself in the highest regard possible, and has been this way since I first started reading it over ten years ago. With that said, for Megadeth's Endgame to be considered the #1 release of 2009 makes me very proud and honoured, to say the least. Not bad for a kid from Deux Montagnes, Quebec, eh??"

Cheers to those that visited BraveWords.com every day to check out the countdown!
