ASTARTE Working On New Album

Greek all-female black metallers ASTARTE are currently working on new material for the follow-up to 2007's Demonized. Leader Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri says "progress is slow due to personal issues."
Video recently surfaced featuring DIMMU BORGIR singer Shagrath (Stian Tomt Thoresen) dueting with Kolokouri from their 2004 album, Siren. Check out the song 'Ring Of Sorrow' below.
Astarte recently hit the studio to record a cover of the IRON MAIDEN epic 'Alexander The Great' (from 1986's Somewhere In Time) for possible release on a 7'' disc with a new Astarte song. More information will be revealed soon.
