Tribute Concert For Late TALISMAN Bassist Marcel Jacob Postponed

The previously-announced TALISMAN tribute show in honour of late bassist Marcel Jacob - which was scheduled for the Pub Anchor in Stockholm, Sweden on January 30th - has been postponed. About the show officially dubbed One Last Talisman Gig/Marcel Jacob Tribute, singer Jeff Scott Soto (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JOURNEY, TAKARA) commented: "The guys were just re-thinking the best way to pay tribute to Marcel and will advise of new plans ASAP."
Jacob - who took his own life on July 21st at the age of 45 - was a staple to the Swedish hard rock/metal music scene. In 1978 Jacob had formed the band RISING FORCE with Yngwie Malmsteen and later was involved in the pre-EUROPE band called FORCE. Jacob was also featured in HUMAN CLAY, JOHN NORUM's solo band, HUMANANIMAL and LION'S SHARE.
