ACE FREHLEY To Perform National Anthem At Monster Energy AMA Championship In Anaheim This Saturday

Former KISS guitarist ACE FREHLEY will be performing the national anthem at the 2010 Monster Energy AMA World Championship. The live season opener will take place from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA on Saturday January 9th, and will be televised at 10 PM (EST) on the SPEED channel.
Frehley will release Behind The Player, a retrospective DVD chronicling his work as one of the world’s most influential guitar players. The DVD will be released worldwide January 19th, through Rocket Science Ventures, and Sony/RED, and will be available for digital download at all online music retailers.
Season Of Mist will release Behind The Player in Europe on January 15th.
According to a press release, "Frehley gives an intimate behind-the scenes look at his life as a professional musician, including rare video footage. Frehley then gives lessons on how to play 'Shock Me' and 'Cold Gin' and jams the tracks with special guest musicians, including Matt Sorum (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER), John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE), Chris Wyse (JANE'S ADDICTION), Tommy Clufetos (TED NUGENT, ALICE COOPER, ROB ZOMBIE) and George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB).
The Video Tab shows exactly how Frehley plays the two tracks. The video-game-style animated tablature is similar to Guitar Hero, but shows how to play the tracks for real."
