Ex-DANZIG Guitarist JOHN CHRIST Describes Accident That Crushed The Fingers On His Left Hand

Former DANZIG guitarist JOHN CHRIST has issued the following update:
"The date was May 7, 2004.It was a hot Friday afternoon, the Friday before Mother's Day. I had not planned on driving any trucks that day. Things were a bit hectic in the office and I was asked to deliver a rubbish truck out to Perris, CA. There's a bunch of construction auction sites out there. We were delivering an old un-wanted truck to be auctioned off.
In the next blog I will either add some background on what I had been up to prior, or just cut to the chase."
Christ's previous update read: "This year I am determined to get organized and finish a few of my projects, some simmering on the back burner for years.
I began a guitar book almost ten years ago. I was nearing completion in 2004 when I was involved in a horrific crash. Somehow I survived and began the long process of rehab.
To me the worst of my injuries were the crushed fingers on my left guitar-fretting hand."
