WINTERBORN, TUKKANUOTTA Added To Finnish Metal Expo; Program Finalized

The line-up for the sixth annual Finnish Metal Expo at the Cable Factory in Helsinki is now finalized. The last bands added to the bill are melodic metallers WINTERBORN who just returned from an extensive European tour supporting SONATA ARCTICA, as well as Helsinki-based death/thrash outfit TUKKANUOTTA who will release a new EP on March 3rd.

A special feature that will open this year’s Finnish Metal Expo on Friday, February 19 is the Songwriting Workshop by BEFORE THE DAWN mastermind TUOMAS SAUKKONEN. Tuomas will be assisted in this interactive songwriting workshop by drummer extraordinaire KAI HAHTO.

The program for the Second Stage hosted by MUSAMAAILMA is also ready. In addition to previously announced Artists, A drum clinic by ROLF PILVE, live-show by LEVERAGE and PDP by DW Drummer Contest will take place, as well as many more.

Helsinki Metal Meeting starts on Thursday, February 18th at Nosturi when FINNTROLL take the stage on their record release show for their highly anticipated new Nifelvind album. The stage will be warmed by BARREN EARTH and ARMOUR. Tickets for the Nosturi show are on sale through www.tiketti.fi and www.lippupalvelu.fi and they cost 12 euros each.

2 types of tickets:

1) Day ticket, advance price 35 euro + possible agency fees / 40 euro at the door (if not sold out). Day ticket allows you to see the

exhibition area, the second stage AND THE MAIN STAGE SHOWS all day.

2) Exhibition ticket, advance price 7 euro + possible agency fees / 10 euro at the door. Exhibition ticket allows you to see the exhibition area and the second stage between 15-23 hrs.

FME is an all-ages event with bars to those over 18 and feeling the urge for such services.
