According to Gazeta.pl, two and a half years after BEHEMOTH frontman Nergal destroyed a bible during a concert in Gdynia, Poland, PiS (Prawo i Sprawiedliwosc) Polish Law and Justice claims that, "Behemoth has issued a massive attack on Catholics."

The case went through an investigation last May, only to be dismissed as nobody allegedly offended by the incident expressed any support for Ryszard Nowak (head of PiS) who wanted Nergal to be prosecuted.

As of this morning the case is re-opened once again. Law and Justice wants to charge Nergal (Adam Darski) with abuse of religious sentiments.

According to University professor and PiS supporter Krzysztof Kowalik, every bible is blessed and should be treated with respect.

Nergal could not be reached for comment, as the band is touring in North America.

The story, in Polish, can be found at this location.
