On January 17th Sweden's SVT1 will broadcast one hour of EUROPE's Almost Unplugged concert performance, recorded live at Nalen in Stockholm- The band, accompanied by a string quartet, play some of their greatest hits as well as some cover songs that have influenced them over the years. This show was broadcast live on the night over the internet.

On December 14th, 2009 Ironbird via Cherry Red Records released a double CD package bringing together two albums from Europe. The band is currently enjoying something of a renaissance with a critically acclaimed new album and a return to the live stage, with a series of UK gigs scheduled for February 2010.
