Swedish medieval metallers FEJD, which features members of NOSTRADAMEUS and PATHOS within it's ranks, has issued the following update from drummer Esko Salow:

"We've been talking back and forth about the start of the recordings of our second full length album, and we finally agreed on March 22nd as a start date for the recordings. That means that from the 22nd of March we will be in Malmö, Sweden to record our coming album.

We've always been in a situation where we could write music and lyrics in a pace that seemed to fit us as a band, but now with a label behind us we have to work somewhat faster than what we've done in the past. That is something that is both encouraging and new for us but something that we feel very satisfied with, and that stimulates us to work hard to do our best.

Our new material is very live oriented wich means that it's easy to "rock" to and we hope that we will be able to play one or two songs for you live this coming summer. Our aim is to get this album our for you to listen to as soon as possible, but that still means that it will take a couple of months after the recordings are finished, say somewhere like August/September 2010 to be completely honest. We are doing our best together with Napalm to release it as soon as we can. When the recordings begins we will update you on a regular basis."

In a previous update, the band stated, "The album title is 99% decided, and we feel it will be called Eifur."

Fejd released their Napalm Records debut, Storm, this past March. More on the band at this location.
