CHICKENFOOT bassist Michael Anthony (ex-VAN HALEN) says that the band will officially record a second album. Check out the interview below (Anthony reavels the news at the 1:27 mark):
In other news, two very special sound-board recordings of Chickenfoot cover 'Going Down' (JEFF BECK GROUP) and 'Dear Mr. Fantasy' (TRAFFIC) are available on YouTube.
According to the Van Halen News Desk, "Soundboard recordings are very rarely leaked and these are the only recordings that we know of that are floating around (other than the live songs that are on the Deluxe Limited Edition CD/DVD). Another reason why these recordings are special is that these were from a February 2008 Sammy Hagar concert at The Palms in Las Vegas, where Chad Smith and Joe Satriani joined Sammy and Mike on stage. These unrehearsed covers were the very first time that Sammy, Mike, Joe and Chad ever jammed together onstage!"
