Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet MARIONETTE will have it's sophomore album, Enemies, released in North America on February 9th via Listenable Records/Koch Entertainment.

Founding member and bassist Mikael Medin issued the following update: “We’ve gotten great responses from our fans in North America who loved Spite as well as the songs from Enemies that we’ve posted online in recent months. While Enemies has been out in Europe for a few months now, we encourage our North American supporters to go out on February 9th and get Enemies. We’ve had fun playing the songs live in Europe in November and December and we hope to bring the energy of our live show and Enemies to North American shores this year.”

Enemies, the follow up to the band's debut album Spite, was recorded with a team of up-and-coming as well as established names in Swedish music including Pontus Hjelm (DEAD BY APRIL) and two-time Swedish Grammis award winning producer and songwriter Åke Parmerud.

The album was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES, BRING ME THE HORIZON) at Studio Fredman and Peter In De Betou (DIMMU BORGIR, ZONARIA) at Tailor Maid respectively in May 2009.
