February 1, 2010, 14 years ago
Former METAL CHURCH singer RONNY MUNROE has issued the following update:
"I would like to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who took the time and voted for 'Delirium' in the OurStage competition over the past couple of weeks… because of YOU, we won Best Rock Video, Fan Favorite, Most Played and Hot New Video for the month of January! I feel blessed to have such great friends and fans!To Joe O’Brien and everyone in the Rat Pak Records fold, I can’t thank you enough for coming together to help make this all happen for me, you're the best!
To all the radio and Internet stations who play my songs, and for those DJ’s that voted, I thank you and although you may not hear it often enough, you guys and gals rock!
And last, but definitely not least, I’d like to thank Ross Wells and everybody at Zenfilm who had a vision and made this incredible video possible! It was such a great experience and one that I’ll never forget.
Thank you to all and I can’t wait to see you soon!!
Here is a little “video” that our very own Tina Peek from Rat Pak Records made in honor of myself, the OurStage Competition and the win. It’s hilarious!"
In the first video from Munroe's new solo album The Fire Within, "our hero is the subject of some rather interesting, and disturbing behavior modification therapy," according to a press release. "The lines between fantasy and reality become rather blurry. The performance was filmed during Ronny's Metal Meltdown Tour in late summer. Take your meds. Enjoy!"
