About.com Heavy Metal's Chad Bowar recently interviewed comedians Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, co-hosts of That Metal Show on VH-1 Classic along with Eddie Trunk.

Q: That Metal Show is now in season 4. Did you think the show would have the success it has and last this long?

Jim Florentine: "I didn't even think they would make an episode. Me, Eddie and Don are into this music and we know it, but we didn't think we would get to this point."

Don Jamieson: "Almost every show I've done a pilot for went down the tubes, but our whole life is metal, and we were really hoping, but you never know."

Jim Florentine: "I never thought there would be a show on TV where three idiots are arguing about who's a better band, Judas Priest or Iron Maiden."

Q:Who are some of the guests on this season of That Metal Show?

Don Jamieson : "Dave Mustaine from Megadeth will be in the premiere, which is good, because he's extremely outspoken and will say anything about anybody and not flinch. There are a lot of fireworks in the first show with him. We had Joey Kramer from Aerosmith, which was phenomenal. Aerosmith is the second band I ever loved. We had the band Accept on, Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio), Joe Lynn Turner from Rainbow, Scott Ian from Anthrax, Joe Satriani."

Q: Who has been your all-time favorite guest?

Jim Florentine: "It keeps changing. I've been a huge fan of Accept, so it was great to meet them. Rudy Sarzo is a legend. Last season we had Rob Halford on, and I thought he was the best one. We had Ronnie James Dio and Geezer Butler on the year before."

Don Jamieson: "It was surreal having Halford in, because he said we were one of his favorite shows and he records it when he's out on the road. To have a guy that I've been going to see in concert for 25 years tell me he's a fan of something I do was unbelievable, and he is an absolute gentleman. It was a very surreal moment for me."
