Former SAIGON KICK / SKID ROW drummer Phil Varone has announced the line-up for his next Sex, Stand up, and Rock & Roll Show at the Hollywood Improv - Thursday, February 11th, 2010.

Phil Varone’s Sex, Stand Up, and Rock & Roll Show is a unique combination of music, sex and edge-of-your-seat comedy all in one show.

Phil has disclosed the comedians performing February 11th, will be:

Stephen Glickman – Seen on such shows as: NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Comedy Central performing with Jeffrey Ross, Stephen also played “Rusty” on the ABC sitcom, Carpoolers. He is one of the stars of the new Nickelodeon show, Big Time Rush, as well as a current series regular on Nickelodeon’s, “One 4 All/Brand New Day”. Stephen also created the role of “Shrek” in Shrek The Musical in the Broadway workshops and readings for Dreamworks.

Duncan Trussell – A writer, producer and standup comedian, Duncan wrote, produced and acted in sketches for two seasons of Stupidface for FUEL TV. He most recently wrote and produced on Showtime’s upcoming series, La La Land, starring Marc Wooton. Duncan’s television credits include MAD TV, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and HBO’s highly anticipated upcoming series, Funny Or Die.

Daryl Wright – A native of Washington, DC, Wright is now a regular on the comedy club and college circuit, performing at such diverse venues as Caroline’s on Broadway and Texas A&M; University. Daryl also created the popular comedy show, Ignorance Is Bliss, where he has featured some of the nation’s hottest comics, including Louis C.K., Adam Sandler and Ron White.

Additionally, J. Chris Newberg will be providing his own brand of smart, edgy musical comedy. Newberg has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, Last Comic Standing and The World Stands Up. J. Chris' standup comedy cleverly combines his hilarious and off-beat observations on life with original, acoustic guitar songs with titles like: 'Drunk Girl', 'Morning Wood' and 'The Ultimate Breakup Song'.

The musical guest for the evening will be the legendary Phil Lewis of L.A. GUNS. Born in London, England, Phil honed his vocal chops as a young man in the popular local band, GIRL, where he shared the stage with an other Phil; celebrated guitarist, Phil Collen, who was later recruited by the Sheffield, England band, DEF LEPPARD.

In 1987, Phil Lewis was invited to Hollywood to audition for L.A. Guns and he was hired on the spot. Throughout his musical career, Phil has traveled well over a million miles, played at least ten thousand gigs, and kissed over a thousand girls. Still, Phil is just as excited and passionate about Rock & Roll today as he was when he began his musical career all those years ago in England. And he will be sharing that passion with the audience at the Hollywood Improv Thursday, February 11th where he will get the opportunity to share the stage with yet another Phil when host, Phil Varone, accompanies him on drums.

Still to be announced is the line-up for evening’s house band, JUST THE TIP.

Phil Varone is an accomplished drummer, music producer and songwriter best known for his work with the rock bands Saigon Kick and Skid Row. After leaving the music business in 2004, Phil came to Hollywood to pursue his passion for comedy and performing. It was in Hollywood that Phil created and began hosting his now wildly popular Sex, Stand Up, and Rock & Roll Show.

The show opens with an amazing musical guest followed by “A” list comedians and performers.
